We are Zero Waste Award Winners!

Sadlers have won bronze at the Zero Waste Awards! Find out more about how we won...

In late 2014 it was announced that we had won a Zero Waste Award for our popular and ever growing cardboard box reuse scheme.

The scheme is designed to divert waste cardboard from being pulped and recycled when it is of a quality and standard that can be reused. This reduces demand for paper and energy, and provides an attractive waste solution for large organisations because it is a far more sustainable way to deal with waste and provides better financial returns in the process.

It is the emphasis on sustainability that was particularly valued by the Zero Waste Awards judges. Not only does the scheme make Sadlers a more sustainable organisation, but the scheme helps many more companies become sustainable too, with the ultimate goal being zero waste to landfill. The Zero Waste Awards are designed to 'recognise and reward leadership, innovation and commitment to this goal' and that is what they recognised in us.

We're very proud of our cardboard box reuse scheme and we are thrilled to have it recognised by this award.
